Edward Swartz was born in Tampa, Florida and has resided as a Florida native for 31 years. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Finance in 2003, and pursues his passion for photography in his spare time. His interest in photography began on a trip to Alaska in the summer of 2001, and ever since has followed in the footsteps of his father and late grandfather, both who always had their camera with them. Edward never goes far without his camera either, although his passion for the art surpasses both and is certainly evident in the quality of his photographs.

Edward currently lives in New Port Richey, Florida, with his wife and two dogs. He has photographed a wide range of subjects, including the Florida and Georgia coastline, natural surroundings and his many travels. Through these photographs, he expresses his concern for nature and wildlife conservations and the natural beauty of the state of Florida.
